Tanek & Valerie....together again

Tanek & Valerie haven't seen each other in 3 years, but they sure hit it off good like they had never been apart.

Tanek's Schoolroom

Stephanie set up Tanek's school room last year, but I finally got the curtains finished.  I just love his school room.  It is a fun place for him to do his school.  This is his table where he does his work.
You can see to the right of the table a big corduroy bean bag chair where he and his mommy sit and read together.

I Love this view with his book shelves, and his computer table.

I love his Kazakhstan flag , the American flag, and  his calendar that can be in Spanish or English.

What a relaxing pretty room to study in.

Summer Fun!

The Wedding of Rena & Larry Hess

Rhonda, Larry's daughter

Bob, Rena's youngest son, and one of the pastors that did their ceremony.

The Bride and Groom

Lori, Kerry, & Doreen

My cousin Linda and I.  Her and Chuck came from Yakima to the wedding.  I was so happy to be able to spend time with them.

Bob and Jerry did the ceremony.  It was one of the happiest wedding ceremonies I have ever seen.

The happy couple

What a special gift these two have received.  After 50+ years of marriage and both losing their mates several years ago God brought them together.  I think everyone who knows both of them and all their children were so happy for them.  When they decided to get married they just wanted a small family and close friends wedding.  Well, about 350 of their family members and closest friends attended their wedding.  It was a very sweet, happy and humorous
ceremony led by her two sons.  I am so happy that I was able to make the trip to be at this wedding.  It just goes to show you that love can come at any age.  Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Larry Hess.

There is always laughter when we all get together.

Rehearsing for the wedding.
We all had a great time.  It was the first time in many years that I got to be with this many of my family at one time.  It was great.  We not only were anticipating my sister and Larry's wedding the next day,  celebrating Lori's first week of "Challenge the Cycle", Jerry just getting his doctorate degree and just getting together for fun, food and laughter.  I also got to meet my great-niece Lucy for the first time and my new niece in law Leslianne for the first time.
Sure wish my family lived a little closer.
