Slinky (Tanek's invisible snake)

Tanek has an invisible snake. This is a picture of him. He is green with a blue tongue and black eyes and his name is slinky. Tanek found him on his floor one day last week and he has been with him every since. The imagination of a three year old is facinating. It is ironic that he would pick a snake of all things. Probably my least favorite thing in the world and we probably have more real ones lurking around our house than most people. But slinky is a snake all together different. He is very little and very nice. He goes most places we go. He went to the beach and liked it there very much. He takes a bath with Tanek sometime and sleeps with him. Tonight he is sleeping in his cup on the table. Since Tanek didn't mention him sleeping with us, I decided he could sleep on the table. I am not excited about sleeping even with an invisible nice little snake. He will go with us wherever we go tomorrow. He rides in the cup holder on Tanek's car seat. Sometimes he gets out and we have to stop and pick him up. He fits in his little hand and he carries him around a lot. He likes to be petted and is very social. He likes meeting new people. Tanek even built a sand castle on the beach for Slinky. Slinky had a good time playing in the sandcastle too. I am not sure how long Slinky will be around, but for now he is here and very much a part of Tanek's life. So Slinky I hope you will be ok tonight in your cup on the table. See you in the morning.

Three years old has got to be one of the best ages ever. I found out Slinky did sleep with us. I didn't know it, but Tanek said he did. That little snake is amazing. He can do anything Tanek wants him to do.
