Getting ready for Disney!
While looking for some Mickey Mouse things for Tanek's birthday party (he will be 3 Tomorrow) he spotted this hat. Since we are getting ready for another Disney trip we thought this would be a good thing for him to have. He has really got into Mickey Mouse and loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
This little hat was just his size and it is really cute. He loves to shake it and make the ears move.

Precious Grand-children
Monday before Emily and Heather left to go home we had some time to spend together with Stephanie and Tanek. Tanek brought Emily a cookie from his house. They are sitting together in the rocking chair while she eats her cookie. I know that it is possible but I really don't think so that I could be a little prejudice but I just think these are 2 of the cutest sweetest children in the whole world.

And now it is nana's turn to pose with her sweet Emily.

Tanek and Emily check out the horse. He (the horse) was very friendly and let them pet him.

Just too cute!

We had a great few days to spend time together and it was fun to watch the two grand-children playing together. They are only a few months apart and would be great buddies if they could have more time together. As a grand-parent it was what I love to do most spending time with my grand-children. I feel SO blessed having 4 precious grand-children. It really is the greatest gift God gives us in our "Golden years". On Sunday night I spent time with Emily while her mom visited with her grand-mother. Emily and I watched Cinderella. (My favorite fairy tale). We ate ice cream and watched Cinderella. Precious memories.
Emily and mommy get their picture taken too.

More fun at the beach!
Below are several different beach scenes. It was a beautiful sunny and pretty warm day. Here are Beth and Karen. Karen was a great sport. She spent a lot of time in the water with Emily. Of course being from Minnesota she could handle the cold water, and it was cold.
Emily didn't even mind getting her princess dress wet.
I don't know what kind of dog this was, it looked kinda like a sheep to me. He was friendly and I took his picture.
After the princess dress was totally wet, Heather put Emily's bathing suit on for her to get in the water.
Emily's legs were stinging from the salt water.

These pictures are not in order, but they are cute just the same.

Emily and Nana. This was a very special day spending it with Heather, Emily and Heathers 2 sisters, Karen and Beth and Jackie, Heathers mom. It was such a pretty day after a few very cold days. It was a fun time of just being together doing whatever. The beach was great and watching Emily in the water having so much fun in her new princess dress was a joy to see. She was having the time of her life.

Girls outing to St. Augustine!
Heather, Emily, her mom Jackie, Karen and Beth and I all spent the day in St. Augustine on Saturday. We started out at the outlet mall and that's where the fun began. Emily found this princess dress and there was no way she planned to leave the store without it. The sales lady (quite quick to size up the situation) knowing this little girl had her mom, aunt, and nana with her also knew there was no way that little girl would leave the store without the dress. Aunt Karen was the first one to cave in. She took Emily in the dressing room and put the dress on her. For the rest of the day Emily was a princess in her pink princess dress. Nana and gaga both also bought Emily some very cute things. I got her her Easter dress and gaga (Jackie) got a couple pretty sweaters to go with a dress she already has.
A happy Emily on her way to "girls days" out.
Emily checking out this dress in the first store we went in. It didn't take her long to know this dress had her name on it.

Please Please may I have this dress???
Thank you Aunt Karen, I knew you would!

Eating lunch at Barnacle Bills. I don't know if I spelled it right or not. We had enough trouble finding it without having to worry about how to spell it. The food was great. We got a young waitress to take our picture, but she cut Jackie out of if. You can almost see Jackie sitting next to me. The food was really quite good.

Some family shots!
Here is a picture of "4 sisters". Heather and Emily and Karen came in yesterday and we all got together for lunch. Jenny came up from Tampa and Beth lives in our area. Jenny is now an Avon dealer and she was showing us some of her samples. If you need any Avon you can contact Jenny at JenniePippin@yahoo.com or www.youravon.com/jpippin. You can order and have it sent directly to you. Very convenient. Anyway here are all the sisters. Karen and Heather have come in hopes of seeing some "warm" weather.
Jennie gave Emily this book and paints (not sure how the hairbrush got in the middle) We have two budding artist busy at work.
Yes, This is Florida!
This is what we woke up to this morning. (with the help of a running sprinkler). But, it was COLD! The ice didn't last long because the sun came out and it warmed up to about 50+.
