School Days

This week was an interesting school week.  We spent some time with papa in the ER on Tuesday.  He will be having surgery soon and is having to take it easy until then.  Papa and Tanek were having some special reading time together.  Papa usually reads to him from his Kindle a book that Stephanie has chosen.  It is usually a classic and this particular one Tanek is really enjoying.

Tanek and his papa have a very special relationship and you can see they are enjoying this time together.  They make many memories every day.

We have been studying about the Pilgrims and how they came over on the Mayflower.  Also, we are studying about God's creation.  This week we were learning about nature and how things grow, seasons, and wild life.  We are very interested in this and love studying about God's creation.

Tanek was very concerned about his papa having to go to the hospital.  He was so good while we waited for them to take care of papa.  He was right there to give moral support.  He was also very happy that he got to go see his mommy at work.  We were very happy when we got to go home though and papa got to come with us.
