Today was my sweet little grand-son Tanek's 5th birthday. It is so hard to believe he is already 5 years old. Time is going by way too fast. He got to have a little celebration in his Sunday School class today. There were fourteen 4 & 5 year olds in his class today. They all got to eat a cupcake and sang Happy Birthday. Getting that many children in one classroom organized is a great talent. He has wonderful teachers that love these children and are so good with them.

Here is the whole class together. I loved getting to hear them all singing. They have a lot of fun while learning a lot about Jesus. I love that he has such a good class and teachers that love these sweet children.
After church we went to dinner and then I took him his birthday gift. Lego's of course. He loves lego's all sorts of them and is very good at putting some of them together. Of course his mommy helps a lot too.
Who would ever think a bunch of little plastic pieces could bring so much happiness and fun to a little guy. Quite honestly I don't share in his love of lego's but I do love to share in his happiness with them. Right now he is getting pretty much into the Lego Star Wars and will have a Lego Star Wars birthday party next Saturday. He has a huge lego city that just keeps growing and he is very creative with it. Happy Birthday Tanek. You bring us so much joy. Please don't grow up too fast. We love you.

He got the police station truck that Austin wants! Aus has the big station and lots of accessories, but the truck station is next on the list. We love Legos too!
