Multnomah Falls
This Is Stephanie and Rena at the bottom of Multnomah Falls. These are absolutely beautiful. About 14 or 15 years ago, Steph, my niece Jess and I actually climbed all the way to the top of them. What a sight that was. I couldn't even make it to the bridge now, but we went all way up. Took about 3 hours to go up and back down. Whew. We were tired but it was SO worth it.Sunday, March 9, 2008

It doesn't get any better than this. All four of my grand-children together. This was in November when we all went to Maryland to spend time with Richard, Heather, and girls. Kirsten is the oldest, Hannah the middle, Emily the little blond, and Tanek is Stephanie and Ricky's son. This was the picture I used on our Christmas Cards this year. Aren't they precious? Can't wait until we are all together again.
A TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL MAN:This is a picture of my daughter, her son, my sister and brother-n-law. Stephanie, Tanek and I had the great pleasure of visiting Rena and Gerald this past summer in the beautiful Northwest state of Vancouver, Wash. Gerald and Rena were married 50 years on June 1. Gerald has been a pastor for many many years and was retired, but still preaching. He was a Godly man with a wonderful sense of humor. Everyone loved him. He passed away on December 7, 2007. He is in Heaven now and "Heaven's Gain is our Loss:. We miss him. Stephanie and Tanek and I had the privilege of enjoying a week with him. This was taken on our last day there. We drove up to see the falls and so many beautiful places. The day was beautiful and one we will always cherish. I have a wonderful sister that I don't get to see enough as she is on the other side of the country. But this was a visit we will always remember. Tanek also took his first steps while there and Gerald knew it was because he was at their house. They were called Uncle Grand-pa Gerald, and Aunt Grand-ma Rena. He loved them and I will be posting more pictures of our visit up there. The country side is absolutley beautiful.
